Gone Boarding

This is a new course offered at KIH designed to bring the world of action sports into the classroom.  Our course will be investigating the construction of the different equipment used in some action sports and then putting that evidence together to synthesize new equipment.  In particular, we will be manufacturing three different pieces of equipment: a surfboard, longboard, and snowboard in collaboration with other students. The boards that we will be making will be fully customizable boards to give students full ownership of the process.  Boards can be purchased at the start of the project to take home for personal use.
