Algebra 1

This course covers the use of symbols, variables and numbers to write expressions.  Math operations are taught in order to solve equations.  The course covers modeling linear equations, systems of equations, one and two variable inequalities, and systems of inequalities through tables and graphs.  Emphasis is placed on deriving these models from real world contexts.  Statistics are used to analyze and represent data and probability.  Lastly, exponential functions and quadratic functions are explored in real world context using tables, graphs, and equations.
