Rachel Haddad grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Miami University (B.A.) and the University of Michigan (M.A.). Upon graduation, Rachel taught Advanced Placement English in the District of Columbia's Public Schools. In 2010, Rachel and her husband moved to Doha, Qatar where she taught at a private international academy. Rachel returned to Michigan in 2014 and is excited to be part of the teaching team at Kent Innovation High School. While new to project based learning, she is excited about its real world practicality and creativity. In addition to teaching, Rachel spends her time with her husband and two little boys and enjoys traveling, hiking, and running.
